GAYA: Patna police zone IG Naiyyar Hasnain Khan has ordered an inquiry into reports of a non-registered educational institute’s offer to send Muslim youngsters to Turkey and Middle East countries after a two-year course with it.
A copy of the IG’s letter has also been forwarded to Gaya DM Kumar Ravi. Agreeing with the seriousness of the issue, the IG told TOI on Monday, “The guilty will be brought to book.”

Pretending to be a guardian, this reporter made a call to one of the numbers given on the pamphlet on Monday and asked about the fee structure and syllabus.
“Fee was immaterial as Alsuffa was a mission,” said the call recipient. About the course material, he said it would be explained in person during one-to-one interaction. In the Urdu version of the Alsuffa pamphlet, it is said that Turkish was ‘the language of our friends in need’.
When contacted, Gaya SSP Garima Malik on Monday said she has directed DSP (city) Alok Kumar to conduct the inquiry.
