Sources close to the family said the police officers apprised the Sachdevas of steps taken by the district police to bring the culprits to book, including arrest of Rocky, the main accused, seizure of the vehicle and recovery of the Beretta pistol used in the crime. The police officers also sought to know from the family members as to what were their expectations.
The family members, according to sources, told the police officers that they only wanted early punishment of the culprit. The police officers assured the family of speedy trial in the case.
