Bihar governor urges youths to launch startups
PATNA: Governor Lalji Tandon called upon the youths to pursue new ideas and encouraged them to launch startups.
“The outlook of today’s youth is changing and they are now more keen to become entrepreneurs. Skill development programmes have helped them a lot to bring establish their ideas in the form of startups,” the governor said, while addressing a gathering at the concluding ceremony of the three-day
Labor resources minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said, “This is the first time in the state that such a large number of private as well as government colleges took part to showcase their skills. This is all possible because of the huge effort made by our PM Narendra Modi, who is leaving no stone unturned to uplift the skills of youths and make them self-dependent.”
Various schools and colleges from the state took part in a number of competitions organised on the conducing day of the three- day event. The winners of Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) milling were from Tool Room and Training Centre (TRTC), Patna. They were Sonu Kumar (first prize winner), Ankitesh Prabhakar (second) and Dhirendra Kumar (third). Winners of CNC Turning were Navlesh Kumar(first), Saurya Kiran (second) and Pritam Prakash (third) of TRTC, Patna.
Winners from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Patna, in embroidery section were- Jyoti Priya (first), SR
Winners from National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) , Patna, in IT and computer applications coding competition were Deepak Kumar (first), Nilesh Pranami (second) and Gulsan Raaz (third). Winners of IT and computer applications- web page designing were Shikha Gupta (first), Mamta Kumari (second) and Aryan Kumar (third). Winners of network administration were Siddharth Bharadwaj (first), Raushan Sahu(second) and Rahul Kumar (third).
