PATNA: The state government has sanctioned loan of Rs 15.87 crore from Bihar contingency fund for payment of one year salary to the Biscomaun employees, according to co-operative secretary Amitabh Verma.

PATNA: The state government has sanctioned loan of Rs 15.87 crore from Bihar contingency fund for payment of one year salary to the Biscomaun employees, according to co-operative secretary Amitabh Verma.
Out of this amount Rs 3,86,48,087 would be spent on salary payment to the Biscomaun headquartered employees and Rs 12,01,21,886 for salary payment to its regional office employees.

Patna Municipal Corporation Act 1951 has been amended for making provision for reservation for SC, ST and women candidates on the post of chairman and members, according to urban development minister, Srinarayan Yadav.
This would also be applicable for other corporations like Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur and Bhagalpur Municipal Corporations, according to a PRD communique issued here on Monday.
