Gaya DM flags off ambulances

Gaya: District magistrate Thiyagarajan SM on Saturday flagged off 13 ambulances, equipped with advance life support systems, for pilgrims visiting Gaya during the Pitripaksh Mela, beginning September 28. The DM said, “Four ambulances will be available near Vishnupad, In addition, 102 health camps have been set up with deployment of doctors, paramedical staff and health workers.” He further said, food inspectors will conduct checking at the eateries to ensure that the pilgrims get fresh and quality foods.

Gaya all set to welcome Pitripaksh Mela pilgrims

The district administration in Gaya is making preparations for the upcoming Pitripaksh Mela, including launching a mobile application for pilgrims, installing display boards near the Vishnupad temple, and introducing a traffic plan and queue system for entry to the temple. Additional power transformers have been installed to ensure uninterrupted power supply, and basic civic amenities such as drinking water, sanitation, accommodation, and cleanliness are being prioritized. The Gaya Municipal Corporation will deploy around 25,000 cleanliness staff for the duration of the mela.

Withdraw FIRs, sackings or wont call off protest: Ambulance staff

EMRI-GHS, the private firm operating ambulance services in Jaipur, held a meeting with its striking employees. The employees demanded the withdrawal of all FIRs against them and the reinstatement of terminated staff. The company had filed FIRs against the employees for disrupting essential ambulance services. The meeting mainly focused on the termination of staff and the lodged FIRs. Other recent articles include the prevention of protesting Asha workers from meeting the Haryana CM, a staff nurse quitting amid action against hospital employees, and a man scamming a company by selling a scrapped ambulance.

Ambulance service for visarjans

On the occasion of Ganesh visarjan, EMRI Green Health Services deployed ambulances and bike ambulances at various locations to attend to emergencies. The service catered to a range of medical needs including burn injuries, abrasions, hypoglycemic patients, falls, eye injuries, fainting spells, and nausea. A total of 72 beneficiaries were assisted by the bike ambulances.
