For Ravish of DAV High School, Danapur, it was a dream come true. Son of an LPG cylinder vendor Ashok Kumar Singh and homemaker Pinki Devi, Ravish studied hard to make it to the joint entrance exams (JEE) Advance, but failed to qualify as he got only 108 marks in the JEE (Mains). The Patna district second topper in matriculation (class X) exams scored 85% in the Intermediate science.
Though emerging the topper in the Intermediate commerce (ICom) examinations, Avinash of Gaya College, Gaya, was not very happy as his 79.6% marks will not be enough to get him a seat in either Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi or St Xavier’s College, Kolkata, the two institutions he was interested in pursuing graduation courses. Son of Surendra Prasad and homemaker Sudha Devi, Avinash believes logical presentations in own words make all difference.
