Gandhi’s ‘karmabhoomi’ should vote for NDA’s good governance: MP CM Mohan Yadav
Bettiah: Addressing twin rallies for the BJP and JD(U) candidates at Bagaha and Sikta assembly constituencies respectively in West Champaran district on Friday, Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav invoked Mahatma Gandhi, saying that the “karmabhoomi” of Gandhiji should vote for “good governance”, which can be provided by the NDA, ensuring the region’s development.
“Bihar's double-engine govt, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Centre and CM Nitish Kumar in the state, continues to perform well. A network of roads has been laid, school infrastructure transformed and the quality of education improved. Millions of youths have found employment as police personnel and teachers, and most importantly, the ‘jungle raj’ has been eradicated from across Bihar. If the Grand Alliance comes to power, the compulsion to return home before dusk during RJD chief Lalu Yadav’s tenure will be repeated, and people will no longer be safe. Therefore, vote with a pledge to not allow the ‘jungle raj’ to return to Bihar, and restore the NDA govt of good governance,” he said.
For the second phase of the assembly elections in the district, the MP CM first appealed for votes for BJP candidate Ram Singh in Shera Bazaar under the Bagaha assembly constituency, and then for JD(U) candidate Samridh Verma in Sikta.
He took a jibe at the Congress, saying it should be ashamed that its leader, Rahul Gandhi, brings disrepute to the country. “Meanwhile, its alliance partner, the RJD, is known for promoting ‘jungle raj’ in Bihar,” he said.
Addressing the rallies in the district bordering Nepal, he also praised the country’s soldiers deployed on the border.
“Under PM Modi's rule, these soldiers are entering Pakistan and carrying out Operation Sindoor, giving it sleepless nights,” he said, adding that the PM is creating new dimensions of development in the country. The PM has also given significant gifts to Bihar like airport, AIIMS and the promotion of Makhana.
