Five held, weapons seized in Fatuha

Patna: Police conducted a raid near Alang dam in Patna's Fatuha on Saturday night and arrested five men who had gathered with weapons to occupy a disputed land. The main accused, Mintu Kumar alias Mintus/Minta (36), a wanted criminal in a triple-murder case with a Rs25,000 reward, was caught within hours. The others held were Gauri Shankar alias Pakodi (30), Ganesh alias Gangesh (26), Pappu Kumar (23) of Niazipur, and Sudha Shankar Raj alias Sudhwa (22) of Bhagwanpur. Police recovered a pistol, cartridges and seven cellphones. All were produced in court and sent to judicial custody, said DSP Awadhesh Kumar.O
