Patna: Five Bihar police officials were promoted to the Indian Police Service (IPS) rank. The promotion was announced through a notification issued by the Union ministry of home affairs. The officers who were promoted are Ravish Kumar, Anjani Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Ramanand Kumar Kaushal, and Sanjay Kumar. As part of their promotion, the officers will undergo a one-year training program. The development comes as part of a series of promotions, transfers, and postings that have been taking place in the state ahead of the New Year.
