Father beheads son over family dispute

Biharsharif: Over some family dispute, a man with the help of his elder son allegedly killed his youngest son in a village under Islampur PS area in Nalanda three days ago and the body cut into two pieces was recovered from a field on Tuesday.
Wife of the deceased, Priyanka Kumari, had lodged a complaint with the Islampur police on Monday saying her husband Deependra Yadav, who had gone missing since September 8 was killed by her father-in-law Ramashish Yadav and his elder son Pappu Yadav.She said she was staying with her parents at village Tarapur under Ekangarsarai PS area when she was informed by some people that her husband is missing since September 8.
Acting on the complaint of Priyanka Kumari, the police interrogated her father-in-law Ramashish Yadav and brother-in-law Pappu on Tuesday. The accused broke down and confessed to have killed Deependra alias Lalu. On their indication police recovered the body of the deceased in two parts from a field near Faridpur village under the same PS area. The head of the deceased was severed by a sharp weapon. The weapon used in the crime is yet to be recovered.
Islampur SHO Pankaj Kumar said Deependra had some family dispute with his father and brother and when Priyanka Kumari, who was married to Deependra only a year ago, was away to her parents place, they brutally killed him. He said the body of the deceased was sent to Biharsharif sadar hospital for post-mortem.
