Fake visa racket: Delhi cops raid house of accused

Patna: A Delhi Police team that had raided the house of fake visa racket mastermind Enamul Haq Ansari alias Imam in Shivdhara locality of Darbhanga on November 25, left for the national capital with the accused on Saturday. Imam was arrested in Delhi recently on charges of running a fake visa racket.“Imam used to cheat people in the name of ensuring them visas for Gulf countries. The Delhi Police team also seized a laptop and some objectionable items from a cybercafé owned by Imam. They also interrogated the family members of Imam,” sadar SDPO Amit Kumar said.Imam is the nephew of Danish Ansari, a member of Indian Mujahideen. Danish was arrested by the National Investigation Agency from Laheriasarai in Darbhanga on January 21, 2013 for his alleged involvement in several terror cases, including Varanasi bomb blast in 2006, Bangalore bomb blast in 2010, Delhi serial blasts in 2008 and Mumbai blasts in 2011.
