Excise department team attacked in Bihar's Arrah, 11 injured

PATNA: A team of the excise department which had gone to conduct a raid in Bihar's Arrah, was attacked by a group of people on Friday.
The incident took place at Mahadalit Tola in Ghagha in Bhojpur's Arrah.
11 people from the excise team were injured in the incident. An FIR has been registered in the matter and further probe is under way.
"We went there for a raid and arrested four people.Suddenly, 20-30 people came and attacked us, they also pelted stones. 11 of us were injured and the vehicles were also damages," ANI quoted excise inspector Chaudhary Surya Bhushan, as saying.
Bhushan added that the attackers fled with the people they had arrested, and destroyed liquor.
