Ekma gets Post Office Passport Seva Kendra

EKMA/CHHAPRA: The 427th Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) was inaugurated during a function organised at Ekma in Saran district on Friday.

Speaking as the chief guest at the event, Union power minister, R K Singh, said, “The government had launched the first POPSK in association with the Department of Posts in January, 2017. Altogether 427 such kendras have been made operational so far.”

MP Janardan Singh Sigriwal and MLA Shrikant Yadav Prabhat Kumar also attended the function at the main post office of Ekma.

“The government’s aim is to establish at least one POPSK in every parliamentary constituency throughout the country,” said Adnan Ahmed, the chief postmaster general of the Bihar Circle.

Prabhat Kumar, the chief passport officer in the Ministry of External Affairs, also spoke on the occasion.
