Ekansh, Ayesh ‘popular icons’ of Patna's International School

Fun games, dance, luncheon and award distribution marked a gala farewell hosted for Class X (ICSE) students by International School on Monday.Ekansh Roy and Ayesh Khan were adjudged Popular Icons. Anant Kumar and Ritambhara Pragya were declared Mr and Miss International respectively while Kumar Shashwat Kartikey and Nashra Tanzeel were the runners-up. The awards for ‘Best costume’ were bagged by Ritesh Anmol and Kavya Singh.

The awards for ‘Best costume’ were bagged by Ritesh Anmol and Kavya Singh.
Zarine Mallick, Anita Rani and Poonam Gupta judged the participants. While school prefect Aumkar Pranav Shukla welcomed the guests, school principal Farhat Hasan wished the students good luck for future. The mementoes and titles were distributed by school’s patron M Hasan.
IITP: The Pan Patna race of Indian Institute of Technology, Patna (IITP), which was scheduled for January 15 as a curtain-raiser event for its fest ‘Anwesha’, will now be held on January 17. Registrations will be done on IITP’s transit campus in Pataliputra from 10am on the day.
PWC girls donate blood: At least 40 units of blood were collected at a voluntary blood donation camp organised at Patna Women’s College (PWC) as a part of weeklong NSS special camp on Monday. The students also learnt about performing various yoga asanas such as ‘surya namaskar’, ‘vajrasana’, ‘shavasana’ etc. A health check-up camp was also organised for them. College principal Sr M Jessie and NSS programme officers Ameeta Jaiswal and Pushpa Sinha were at the helm of affairs.
Quiz contest: Students of Holy Mission Secondary School took active part in a science quiz contest held on the school campus on Monday. The students of Azad House and Pratap House won the contest.
Career fair: The open career fair, which was scheduled to be held at St Xavier’s College on January 23 and 24, has been postponed to February 13 and 14 from 10.30am to 5pm.
