PATNA: A school principal, who reached the school dressed in lungi and vest under the influence of liquor, has been arrested in Muzaffarpur district. He also allegedly misbehaved with the female teachers on duty, police said on Thursday.

Police said Umesh Thakur, principal of the Middle School, Paharpur located under Sakra police station, partly dressed, reached directly in the classroom on Wednesday. After entering the classroom, he sat on the bench and began dancing with the students. He also allegedly misbehaved with female teachers who strongly objected to his conduct and informed the local police.

Sakra SHO Raju Kumar Pal on Thursday, said the principal was arrested on the complaint of ward member Sahani Begum.
