PATNA: Members of the Bihar State Health Services Association (BSHSA) and state Indian Medical Association (IMA) on Saturday said declared that they would be forced to decide their future course of action if the state government did not incorporate their suggestion in proposed Bihar Medical Service Institution Protection Bill, 2011. A decision to this effect was taken at a joint meeting held here.

He said that members wanted to remind the health minister and the principal secretary, health, that they had assured a delegation of IMA and BSHSA that they would be provided a draft copy of the Bill and also of the Clinic and Nursing Home Regulation Bill before they are placed before the state legislature.
Dr Yadav said that the members urged the health minister and principal secretary, health, to provide the copy of both the bills to them at the earliest.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Dr C P Thakur, Dr D K Choudhary, Dr V S Singh, Dr Manju Geeta Mishra, Dr Basant Singh, Dr Arun Kumar Thakur, Dr Vijay Prakash, Dr Harihar Dikshit, Dr Ajay Kumar and Dr Sahajanand Prasad Singh.
