HAJIPUR: The divisional commissioner of Tirhut, Anjani K Singh, has asked the Vaishali district magistrate H R Srinivas to prepare a daily tour package by bus from the district headquarters to all the historic sites in the district to promote tourism.
Singh has also advised the D M to train a group of unemployed youths as local tourist guides with the help of any local NGO to assist the foreign tourists if they visit Vaishaligarh.

A well-prepared scheme under the Rashtriya Sam Vikas Yojna was launched here on Wednesday to give a facelift to almost all the tourist places, including Vaishaligarh.
Talking to ToI on Thursday, DM Srinivas said that the Tirhut commissioner after reviewing the action plan under the Rashtriya Sam Vikas Yojna gave a go ahead signal.
In Vaishali, the focus has been given to girls'' education and 45 schools have been selected where the attendance of girls has been found high. These schools would get the required infrastructure in near future, said Srinivas.
To disseminate information on agriculture and tourism, information centres would be opened soon by the order of the Tirhut commissioner.
Besides, Vaishali will be the first district in Bihar where mobile soil testing centres and the mobile veterinary clinics would be started under the Rashtriya Sam Vikas Yojna, the DM said.
To promote rural talent in sports, 4 stadiums would be built at block level and one of the four stadiums will be at Raghopur, the CM''s assembly segment. Social forestry at an estimated cost of Rs 5 lakh has also been initiated in Raghopur, Srinivas added.
To acquaint people with the schemes of development, a decision has been taken to publish a weekly government newspaper. The newspaper would highlight the government schemes. A mega plan has also been approved to upgrade the maternity clinics in Raghopur diara areas.
