Deputy CM: Launch crackdown on illegal hoardings in Ara
In a pivotal district meeting, Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha emphasized the urgent need for urban cleanliness and rigorous actions against illegal hoardings and encroachments. He mandated that road projects be completed on schedule and pushed for the rapid development of Mokshdhams.
Ara: Deputy CM and Bhojpur’s minister-in-charge, Vijay Kumar Sinha, on Monday chaired a district-level review meeting here. During the meeting, DM Tanai Sultania presented a report on ongoing govt schemes and departmental progress.The deputy CM undertook a comprehensive review of all departments and issued clear, time-bound directives to the officials concerned. Laying stress on urban cleanliness and its effective enforcement, he instructed the municipal commissioner to ensure strict sanitation across hospitals, bus stands, markets and other key public areas, with continuous monitoring through CCTV cameras. He also emphasised regular garbage lifting.Targeting disarray in urban areas, Sinha said, “Launch a crackdown on illegal hoardings and unauthorised parking on municipal land. Permissions must be granted only after payment of prescribed fees,” while warning of heavy penalties for violators. Joint anti-encroachment drives were mandated for SDM and municipal officials.Reviewing road works, Sinha instructed executive engineers of the road construction and rural works departments to complete all projects on time with uncompromising quality standards.
Under Namami Gange, he directed expeditious construction of Mokshdhams in Barhara and Shahpur.Calling for strict action against land mafia, the deputy CM ordered officials to identify encroachers and take firm measures to protect public interest. Taking a tough stance on revenue issues, he directed that all pending cases be resolved within stipulated deadlines. “Hearings of land disputes must be ensured at the circle office-level,” he said.The meeting was attended by Barhara MLA Raghavendra Pratap Singh, Jagdishpur MLA Shri Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha, Bhojpur SP Raj, Bhojpur DDC Smt Gunjan Singh, and other officials.
