Patna: More than a dozen students from different departments of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) have excelled in the national-level CSIR NET-JRF Dec 2025 examination, the results of which were announced by the
National Testing Agency (NTA) recently.
Giving the details, CUSB’s public relations officer Mudassir Alam said as many as five students from the biotechnology department alone and of them Abhitej Kumar Jha secured 131st All India Rank in the examination. Other biotechnology students, namely, Sanish Kumar, Pritikana Mallick, Nisha, and Sibsankar Mallick have qualified for admission into the Ph D programme. Three students from the chemistry department have qualified for the examination. Ashutosh Dey performed outstandingly by securing ninth rank, while Arnab Patra and Rajneesh Patel secured 78th and 81st All India Ranks respectively.
Rudra Narayan Patnaik, a student in the geology department, has qualified for the JRF. Manish Kumar, a student of the geography department, has qualified for the position of assistant professor in the examination. Similarly, a number of scholars from other departments have qualified the NTA test for research fellowships and assistant professorship, Alam said.
