PATNA: In a move aimed at establishing greater co-ordination between the government and JD(U) workers, chief minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday promised the workers at a meeting in the party office here that he will visit it (party office) every Tuesday to redress their woes. The CM announced that he will be present at the party office every Tuesday from 11 am to 1 pm to address the problems of the workers.
"I'll request all ministers from the party to spare time from their busy schedule and ensure that they visit the party office on a day and time of their convenience every week," he said. Beginning the first-ever such exercise at his party office here on Tuesday itself, Nitish stressed the need for greater participation of grassroots workers in the execution of development schemes to help eradicate poverty and unemployment. He said the government is committed to launching schemes aimed at generating employment.
