BSAP jawan killed in Bihar's Munger district

PATNA: A Bihar Special Armed Police (BSAP) jawan, Ashok Kumar alias Sanoj Kumar, was killed by the unidentified miscreants at Badi Ashiqpur under the East Colony police station area in Munger district on Saturday.
Ashok was posted at Fatuha in Patna district.
SHO of East Colony police station Vijay Kumar Yadavendu, Jamalpur SHO Sarvjit Kumar and Ramnagar SHO Kaushal Kumar reached the spot along with the police force.
"Raids are on to arrest the assailants," Vijay said, adding Ashok had come home on Chhath. "A few days ago, he had a verbal spat with some youths of Ramnagar. Some people reached his home with sticks on Saturday evening and beat him up. The jawan died at Jamalpur primary health centre," he added.
