BOI launches card for treatment at AIIMS-P

PATNA: Bank of India (BOI) executive director R P Marathe and AIIMS Patna (AIIMS-P) director Dr G K Singh on Friday jointly launched a prepaid card scheme for cashless treatment at the medical hub. This facility has been introduced for the convenience of patients and their attendants visiting AIIMS-P.
Speaking on the occasion, Marathe said this facility is the first of its kind in Bihar.

Earlier, it was launched in Bhubaneswar (Odisha). Patients and their attendants can recharge this card for use during their stay at the AIIMS-P, he said.
AIIMS-P director Dr G K Singh said the greatest advantage of this facility is that patients and their attendants could pay their bills for x-ray, ultrasound, pathological and other clinical tests through this card. Patients and their attendants need not carry cash with themselves while undergoing treatment at AIIMS-P, he said.
Others present on the occasion included BOI GMs V Vishwanathan and K L Sharma, regional manager M N Ansari, deputy regional manager Amrendra Kumar, AIIIMS financial advisor Anant Prakash and BOI Phulwarisharif branch manager Baleshwar Nath Tiwari.
