PATNA: AIMIM state president Akhtarul Iman on Saturday said that the ruling NDA government at the Centre had nothing to show to the masses even though they have been in power for the past about a decade. They have only agenda of ‘fomenting communal tension across the country’ ahead of the 2024 LS polls, he alleged.
Talking to media persons, Imam said, “Neither Rs15 lakh was credited to the bank accounts of any citizen, nor the inflation could be tamed.

Farmers’ condition has also not changed. Youths have gone jobless, while petrol prices have shot up alarmingly. So, their only agenda right now is to foment communal conflicts.”
The AIMIM chief made these statements shortly after the PM, while holding a meeting with the NDA MPs on Thursday, reportedly asked them to “focus on their constituency, connect with the public, resolve public problems and highlight central government schemes.” The PM also reportedly advised the parliamentarians to be ready for the upcoming 2024 Ls polls and expose the opposition’s alliance.
Iman, who represents Amour seat in the state assembly, also slammed CM Nitish Kumar over his party’s “Bhaichara yatra” saying the person who established the BJP in the state was now showing love towards the Muslims. “This is just eyewash. Can a person who has set fire douse the flame?” he asked.
