Patna: The BJP state unit has organised a felicitation function on Monday for its new national president
Nitin Nabin, who will arrive at his home town Patna for the first time after taking charge on Monday. During his two-day visit to Patna, he will participate in various programmes.
Extensive preparations have been made for the felicitation ceremony, to be held at Bapu Sabhagar in Patna. The Bankipur MLA will be accorded a grand reception at the Patna airport from where party workers will welcome him at various points along the route to Bapu Sabhagar.
All the roads between Patna airport and Bapu Sabhagar are covered with posters and banners to welcome the 45-year-old party chief.
A meeting was held at the state BJP office on Sunday to discuss the preparations for the welcome and felicitation ceremony of Nitin. BJP state president Sanjay Saraogi and organisation general secretary Bhikhu Bhai Dalsania guided the workers on how to make the arrangements for the BJP national president’s welcome ceremony a grand event. Responsibilities have been assigned to the party workers regarding the arrangements.
The meeting also specifically discussed measures to ensure that workers from other districts do not face any difficulties in reaching Patna for the welcome ceremony.
Saraogi said thousands of workers from all districts of the state will participate in the welcome ceremony. Nitin will interact with the BJP grassroots workers and give a message of strengthening the organisation, he said.
