Bihar: Two minor girls charred to death as LPG leak sparks fire in Darbhanga district
DARBHANGA: Two minor girls were burnt alive in a fire triggered by leakage in a cooking gas cylinder in their house at Narayanpur village under the Kusheshwar Asthan police station area in Darbhanga district on Thursday.

The flames engulfed 10 more houses and the belongings in these houses were reduced to ashes. Firefighting vehicles were rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
SHO of Kusheshwar Asthan police station Umesh Jha said the circle officer of the block visited the spot after the incident.
Jha added the bodies of the two girls were sent to Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) for autopsy. Biraul sub-divisional officer Sanjeev Kumar
Kapar said owners of the burned houses have been given Rs 9,800 each and polythene sheets for making makeshift arrangements for living. The family of the two girls will be given Rs 4 lakh as compensation.
