PATNA: The Patna police arrested two persons into custody from Gopalganj district in relation to the passing of Aryan Raj, the son of a police officer. The suspects, identified as Piyush Raj and Vikash Kumar, also known as Ayush Raj, are the sons of Sudish Kumar Yadav, who hails from Gopalganj. The two are believed to be members of a political family in Bihar.
According to the police, the duo was renting a flat in A G Colony, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Shastri Nagar police station. Ayush and his brother had organized a party on Friday night, inviting friends, including Aryan. The police also recovered liquor bottles and other illicit items from the location.
A case was registered against the suspects based on the statement provided by Aryan's father. The police have sent the body for a post-mortem examination, and the report is currently pending.
