PATNA: Bihar has received the Religious Tourism Destination of the Year Award at India International Travel Mart 2023 held in Bengaluru.
Secretary (tourism) Abhay Kumar Singh termed it a proud moment for Bihar Tourism.
“The tourism department is constantly expanding facilities and attractions in tourist spots through innovative experiments, as a result of which the state has received this award. The department will continue to work in the direction of improving our tourist places,” Singh said.
Director (tourism) Vinay Kumar Rai said the credit for the award goes to the officials and personnel of the department.
“I want to congratulate all stakeholders. This award is an encouragement for better work in future.”
