Bihar CM Nitish Kumar congratulates PV Sindhu

PATNA: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Monday congratulated badminton player PV Sindhu for becoming the first Indian to win Gold medal at the BWF World Championship.
Nitish, in his greeting message, said Sindhu created a history by winning the BWF world championship- 2019. He said the entire county felt proud on this daughter of India.
"P V Sindhu will continue to bring glory to the country in future too," Nitish said.
Sindhu became the first Indian to win badminton World Championships by beating arch-rival Nozomi Okuhara of Japan 21-7, 21-7 in a lop-sided summit clash that lasted just 38 minutes in Basel, Switzerland, on Sunday.
