BIA to host 5-day industrial expo aimed at boosting investment
Patna: Bihar Industries Association (BIA) will host the 8th edition of its industrial exhibition, Destination Bihar-Expo 2026, at Gandhi Maidan from Feb 26 to March 2. The event aims to attract investment to the state while promoting industrialisation and employment generation. The event is being organised with support from the state govt and department of industries.
The Bihar chapter of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI) is a partner for the event and will host a dedicated property show.
The exhibition will remain open to the public daily from 11.30am to 8.00pm, with free entry. The inaugural ceremony is scheduled for Feb 26 at 1.30pm. Stalls have been allotted at subsidised rates to women entrepreneurs and individuals from weaker sections to showcase handicrafts and cottage industry products.
The five-day event will feature daily seminars, workshops and business meetings. Evenings will include cultural programmes, art exhibitions and quizzes.
Spread across 2.5 lakh square feet, the exhibition will be housed in five large German hangars displaying a range of products and services. One hangar has been earmarked for real estate companies and another for solar energy firms.
Several state govt departments, including industries, IT, tourism, water resources, art and culture, agriculture, energy, road construction and the Bihar State Pollution Control Board, will showcase their schemes and policy initiatives.
