Followed by Begusarai is state’s bordering district West Champaran and Sitamarhi, each with 54 marks. Jamui was fourth while Khagaria was judged fifth in the ranking list released by state. Patna, with 45 marks stood at 16th position in the list. Jehanabad was judged the worst district in Bihar with 34 marks.
Weightage for matriculation performance, awareness campaigns and student’s attendance was 20 marks while parameters of MDM beneficiaries, students having Aadhaar card, bank account and student’s credit card sanctioned application carried 10 marks respectively in the ranking.
