B S Meena is new Patna SSP

PATNA: A minor reshuffle has been affected in police administration in Bihar and B S Meena has been made the new Senior Superintendent of Police of Patna.
Meena will replace Amit Kumar Jain who would be SP (security) now, a notification issued by state home department late last evening said.
The superintendent of police, Aurangabad, Sanjay Singh would be new SSP of Bhagalpur, while Superintendent of Railway Police Patna Vivek Raj Singh would be the new SP of Bhagalpur.
Pankaj Kumar Raj was appointed as new SRP of Patna, the notification said.
Meena had hit the headline after a police team led by him had raided the ancestral house of former RJD MP Md Shahabuddin at Pratap Pur in Siwan district in 2001.
