Patna: Army Public School, Danapur Cantt, marked the 77th Republic Day with grandeur and solemnity. The celebrations began with a vibrant ‘Prabhat Pheri’, followed by the unfurling of the National Flag by Principal Dharmsheela Pandey and the collective singing of the
National Anthem. The programme featured a melodious patriotic song, an insightful speech, a powerful skit by senior students, and an engaging musical drama. Students’ enthusiastic participation reflected a deep patriotic spirit.
In her address, Pandey highlighted India’s republican heritage, tracing it back to the ancient Licchavi Republic of Vaishali, and emphasised enduring democratic values. Under the theme “Nation First – A Proud Legacy to Carry Forward,” she urged students to uphold constitutional ideals, praised the achievements of Indian women, and commended the disciplined efforts of both students and teachers.

Sainik School Nalanda: The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with immense pride and patriotic zeal at Sainik School Nalanda. Principal Colonel Bhupender Kumar hoisted the National Flag. A disciplined march-past unfolded at the Sheoo Mewalal Sports Complex parade ground, with contingents from Ajatshatru, Ashoka, Mahavir, Siddharth, and Bimbisar Houses saluting the chief guest, accompanied by the school band.
In his address, the principal highlighted the Constituent Assembly’s efforts in crafting a Constitution based on justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.
He urged reflection on India’s transformative journey and praised the cadets’ impeccable discipline. A vibrant cultural programme followed, featuring patriotic songs, group dances by Mauryan Public School students and Sainik School cadets, and an acclaimed mime on “Incredible India.”
Loyola High School: Anshul Arav of Class X-A was felicitated for maintaining 100% attendance at Loyola High School during the 77th
Republic Day celebrations. The school also recognised 12 students for achieving perfect attendance over 12 consecutive years. Teachers who recorded perfect attendance throughout the year were similarly appreciated.
The day commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem. Chief Guest Dr Sanjeev Kumar, Head of the Cardiothoracic Department, AIIMS Patna, was warmly welcomed and felicitated. Primary students presented a graceful prayer dance, setting an elegant tone. Classes VI to IX enthralled the audience with a colourful group dance while Class XI students delivered an impressive instrumental performance.
