BIHARSHARIF: State information and public relations minister Neeraj Kumar on Sunday equated independent MLA
Anant Singh with rape accused former RJD MLA Rajballabh Yadav and Mohd Shahabuddin. “They come from the same clan and have the same blood,” he said.
On his way back to Patna from Rajgir after attending a function on Sunday, Neeraj said at Biharsharif circuit house: “Anant, Rajballabh or Shahabuddin ka ek gotra or khoon hai.” He said Anant’s claim of innocence does not make him innocent as around 50-52 cases were registered against him and half of them had been lodged after he became a legislator in 2005.
Neeraj said Anant’s claim was hollow and false that the action against him was politically motivated. He said the Mokama MLA is a criminal as is evident from the number of cases lodged against him.
