AIIMS-P doctor conferred fellowship of Diabetes India

Patna: Dr Jyoti Prakash, professor and head of the department of general medicine and registrar at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna, has been conferred the prestigious Fellowship of Diabetes India at the World Congress of Diabetes & Obesity in recognition of his outstanding contribution to diabetes care, research and academics.The honour was bestowed during the Diabetes India World Congress of Diabetes & Obesity held from Feb 13 to Feb 15 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre in Hyderabad.Eminent diabetologists, researchers and healthcare professionals from across the country and abroad are participating in the conference.The event is a premier international scientific forum that deliberates on advancements, innovations and policy frameworks in the management of diabetes and metabolic disorders.According to a press note, the department of general medicine at AIIMS Patna, under the leadership of Dr Jyoti Prakash, has strengthened its diabetes management protocols, community outreach and research activities, benefiting a large population in Bihar and neighbouring regions.
