AAP to contest Bihar assembly election

PATNA: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) would contest 80 to 100
Addressing mediapersons after the party’s state executive committee meeting, Singh also slammed the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar for allowing religious strife to spread in the state. “The communal incidents are on the rise in Bihar. The state where people had lived with religious harmony is now under the grip of patrons of hate politics,” he said.

Asked about AAP’s plan for Bihar, Singh said the party would contest the assembly elections. He, however, denied any talks with the constituents of grand alliance comprising RJD and Congress in the state.
“Our party leadership will decide the number of seats to contest in Bihar assembly elections,” Singh said.
Speaking about his party’s further plans in Bihar, the senior AAP leader said the party would first strengthen its organizational structure in the state, taking into account the forthcoming parliamentary and assembly elections.
“The BJP will be suffer a massive defeat in the five state assembly elections held recently. Its government failed on employment front and took several catastrophic decisions such as demonetisation and introduction of Goods and Services Tax (GST), which badly hit common people and industry across the country,” Singh said. The assembly election results of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram will be announced on December 11.
