93 PWC students receive job offers
PATNA: At least 93 final year students of different streams were offered jobs by a Gurugram-based private firm as part of a placement drive organized at
More than 200 girls participated in the placement drive which comprised several rounds — free speech, spoken English assessment, written test and interview through video-conferencing. PWC placement and career counselling cell members Debjani Sarkar, Sahar Rahman and Alok John supervised the students.
IIT-P: The Indian Institute of Technology-Patna (IIT-P) will hold a three-day workshop on ‘Analysis of Faulted Power System’ from December 13 to 15. Students will be told about the basic concepts of fault analysis in power system, existing methods, dynamic modelling along with preventive and emergency measures through simulation studies. Case studies will be analysed and various aspects of fault analysis demonstrated by experts.
CUSB: Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) felicitated two students — Mukund (AIR 62) and Gaurav (AIR 162) — of the department of biotechnology, who were recently awarded Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), at a function on Tuesday. Four life science department students were also honoured for cracking National Eligibility Test (NET).
Those who cleared NET include Ankita (AIR 33), Aishwarya (AIR 55) and Rumi (AIR 87). CUSB VC HCS Rathore, pro-VC OP Rai along with the entire University fraternity have congratulated the successful students.
