₹6L jewellery looted from Vaishali shop

Patna: Criminals looted cash and jewellery amounting to Rs 6 lakh at gunpoint from a shop at Munshi Chowk under the Patepur police station area in Vaishali district on Monday night.The owner of the jewellery shop, Pappu Kumar Sah, was about to down the shutters when the criminals reached there. They held Sah captive at gunpoint and committed the crime. The criminals took away Rs 13,000 in cash and silver and gold jewellery from the shop.Station house officer of Patepur police station Shivendra Narayan Singh reached the spot along with a police team and started probe.

Criminals open fire at police team, cop hurt

A constable in Udaipur was injured when criminals in an unmarked SUV opened fire at a police team. The incident occurred when the police tried to stop the vehicle at a barricade. The constable was taken to the hospital and the police have launched a search operation to apprehend the suspects. Additional police teams have been deployed and drones are being used to search the nearby forests.
