4-day hockey tournament begins at Sainik School Nalanda
Biharsharif: Colonel Bhupender Kumar, principal of Sainik School Nalanda, on Monday inaugurated the four-day All India Sainik Schools Intra-Group ‘D’ Hockey Tournament for the 2026–27 session on the school campus.
A total of 192 cadets from four Sainik Schools across Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal are participating in the event, said the school’s media in-charge, Brajesh Kumar. The participating schools include Sainik School Gopalganj, Sainik School Tilaiya and Sainik School Purulia. Matches are being held in boys’ sub-junior (U-15), junior boys and girls’ U-17 categories.
