4 arrested with heroin

Patna: Patna police on Monday arrested four persons, including a woman, from Gandhi Maidan area and seized 500gm heroin from their possession.
Police sources said the bag in which they were carrying heroin was made in Thailand. The arrested men are Rakesh Kumar, Rajiv Raman Paswan and Upendra Kumar Sharma. The woman's name was not disclosed by police.
Patna SSP Manu Maharaaj said, "On a tip-off, a special team of the police conducted search in the eastern part of Gandhi Maidan and found three men moving in a suspicious way.As they were caught and heroin seized from their possession, they said that a woman had supplied the consignment to them. The woman was picked up from her house at Nehru Nagar. They are part of an interstate gang of heroin suppliers."
