31 officers shifted; 14 young SIs made SHO

Patna: In a major reshuffle, Patna SSP Kartikey K Sharma on Monday transferred 31 police officers, with 14 young sub-inspectors given charge of police stations across the district.

As per the new postings, Dinesh Kumar Singh was made SHO of Buddha Colony, while Rajiv Kumar was posted as circle inspector in Hathidah. Manish Kumar Anand has been shifted to Police Lines, and Santosh Kumar Sharma will take over as SHO of Ramkrishna Nagar.

Bambam Kumar, earlier additional SHO at Kotwali, has been appointed SHO of Shahjahanpur, while Suman Kumar will head Gaurichak police station.

Several officers from Dial 100 were also moved to field postings. Tanesh Payla was made SHO of Sigori, Abhishek Kumar posted as SHO of Hathidah, Khushboo Khatoon will head Daniyawan police station, and Shravan Kumar was appointed SHO of Rani Talab.

Police sources said the move to hand over police station charge to 14 young sub-inspectors aims to strengthen grassroots policing and improve law and order response.
