2 officers shifted

PATNA: The state government on Thursday shifted urban development secretary Ajay Kumar to the post of member, state planning board. Shakeel Ahmed will replace him.
Chief executive officer of Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) A B Prasad has been shifted to the post of additional secretary, secondary and higher education department. Prasad will also have the additional charge of director, secondary education.
The vice-chairman of Patna Regional Development Authority (PRDA), Chaitanya Prasad, will hold the additional charge of chief executive officer, PMC.
The transfer of Kumar and Prasad was effected following some adverse remarks made by the Patna High Court while hearing a PIL.
