NEW DELHI: A man died and several people were injured in a firing incident between RJD and BJP workers on Tuesday morning in Bihar's Chhapra district. Heavy police deployment has been made in the region to control the situation, according to reports
Reports said that the clash was a fallout of an election-related animosity. The incident took place at Bikhari Thakur Chauk under the Nagar police station area, reports said.
As per the reports, RJD candiate Rohini Acharya had arrived at a polling station with her followers on Monday where she reportedly interacted with voters in an unsuitable manner.
Due to the angry crowd, Acharya had to leave the area. However the conflict reignited on Tuesday morning, resulting in gunfire.
