On the eve of World Dance Day, a colorful workshop was organized at the a mall Sector 38A. A group of student dancers started the program in an elaborate manner with Ganesh Vandana. The children, who were dressed in colorful dresses, made their appearance with Indian traditional attire. Other dance performances included Bharat Natyam, Kathak, Odissi, Punjabi folk dances.
“This is a great opportunity to make the audience especially the children, aware of the Indian culture at a time when western culture is quickly taking over our daily lives,” said Bhaskar Joshi, General Manager, Worlds of Wonder.
