NEW DELHI: A man driving a Thar created chaos on a road in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida, with the reckless act caught on camera and going viral on social media on Wednesday.
According to police, the driver had arrived to install speakers when an argument broke out. Following the altercation, he fled the scene, driving recklessly.
The incident occurred on March 10 in the Sector 16 car market, under the jurisdiction of Phase-1 Police Station.
A complaint has been registered and two police teams have been formed to track down the accused.
The viral video shows the Thar ramming into multiple vehicles, but no injuries were reported. Despite the collision, the driver did not slow down and managed to escape.
DCP (traffic) Lakhan Singh said they have issued a challan of Rs 38,500 against Lohiya for various offences, including dangerous driving, violation of multiple traffic rules, disobedience of any direction lawful given by the authority, driving a vehicle in contravention of Section 3 or 4 of the MV Act and without written permission of state govt for racing and trials of speed in any public place.
