NOIDA: A 64-year-old retired air force official died when his scooty was hit by a speeding vehicle in Sector 37.
Police said that the vehicle hit the victim Anup Singh's two-wheeler as he tried to take a U-turn at Sector-37. He was rushed to a nearby hospital by a passing auto driver, where he succumbed to his injuries.
In another incident a 24-year-old cleaner was crushed to death when he was knocked down by a crane in Tilpatiya village of Surajpur, Greater Noida.

The deceased has been identified as Subhash.
Police said that the incident took place inside the company premises where Subhash worked. A case has been registered against the crane driver.
