Noida: The 18-year-old woman, whose family claimed she was abducted from outside her college, was spotted in CCTV footage collected from Botanical Garden and Wave City Centre Metro stations. The footage is of Tuesday morning, when according to the family, she was abducted. Police said the missing woman had called the key suspect minutes after being seen in the footage. SP Dinesh Yadav said that during the course of investigation, cops had scanned CCTV footage from all areas the woman might have visited. "We had sought footage from Metro stations in Noida. While scanning these footages, we noticed her in the Wave City Centre and Botanic Garden Metro stations on Tuesday morning," Yadav said."She was spotted at the Wave City Centre Metro station at 6.55am and at Botanical Garden Metro station at 7.05am. She had called the key suspect around 7.09am," he said. "There is a strong possibility that her friends knew about the incident. We will question them to gain some leads," a senior police officer said.On Tuesday, a Gheja-based resident filed a complaint at the Sector 39 police station that his 18-year-old daughter was abducted by three people from outside Rajkiya degree college. The family claimed the abduction took place around 7am when the woman was on her way to college with her brother, Rakesh. They had named their former tenant, Devender Sharma, in the complaint.
