fair, will be held from October 26 to November 4 at Noida Stadium in Sector 21-A. The event, organised by UP Tourism in association with Noida Authority, will be inaugurated by Union minister Mahesh Sharma and Rita Bahuguna Joshi, minister for tourism, Uttar Pradesh.

Officials of UP tourism and Noida Authority on Thursday addressed a press conference giving details about the mega event. Anju Chaudhury, secretary, craft mela mahotsav samiti and regional tourism officer, UP government, said “Culture and Handicraft” is the theme of this event.

She said that 300 handicrafts artists from different parts of India, Thailand, China and Bangladesh will put their work on display. She said that there will be food stalls of Awadhi, Rajasthani, Chinese, Punjabi cuisines as well. The event will also have a separate fun zone for children where they can enjoy toy train, airplane and bouncing rides.

There will also be an inter-school folk dance competition among students from various schools in the evening. The musical events will have participants including Bollywood singer Shaan, Sanjivini, Sadhna Sargam, Geetanjali Sharma, and more.

The ticket for the event is priced at Rs 20 per head for adults, while entry is free for kids, physically disabled and senior citizens. The organiser said that golf carts and e-rickshaws will be available for persons who require them during the trade fair.

The event will be under tight security watch and 70 CCTV cameras have been installed on the premises for the same.
