NOIDA: A day after
CBSE announced the Class XII board results and Noida girl Raksha Gopal emerged as the national topper, the results for Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and
Indian School Certificate
(ISC) were anounced on Monday. However, none of the 10 ICSE toppers are from Gautam Budh Nagar. Two schools in Gautam Budh Nagar follow the ICSE curriculum – St. Joseph’s School, Greater Noida and Shriram Millennium School in Sector 135, Noida.
In Class XII exams, three
Science students
secured the top three positions in the district, all from in St Joseph’s School–Shubham Mittal who secured 97.75%, Saksham Arora who got 95.75% and Kavish Rana who got 95.5%. As many as 118 students from the school appeared in the Class XII board examinations and 116 have passed.
In Class X, Madhur Saxena topped the school by securing 95.60%; while Anshu Som is the second topper with 93.60%; and Simran Gupta, the third topper, got 92.80%. A total of 207 students appeared in the Class X exams and 205 students have passed. Meanwhile, in Shriram Millennium School, nine students appeared for the Class XII exam. Ananya Sood topped the school with 94.8%, Shaurya Aggarwal claimed the second spot with 92.8%; while Akul Rishi, the third topper got 92%.
Twenty one students from the school appeared for the Class X examination. Shreshtha Sharma topped the school with 95.4%, Akshat Aggarwal, the second topper, got 94.8%, while Katya Dua got the third position with 93.8%. The school recorded a 100% pass percentage for both Class X and Class XII.
In Ghaziabad, Paul Joseph from Holy Angel School emerged as district topper for Class X by securing 98%.
Three students finished second in Ghaziabad with 97.6%, all from Holy Angel School. Class XII student Yashika of St Joseph School emerged as the Ghaziabad topper with a score of 97.5%. Muskan Saini and Yukta Anand of Holy Child School share the second spot with a score of 96.75%. Speaking to TOI, a jubilant Yukta Anand, who wants to be a teacher, said, “I had put in lot of effort but never expected to bag the second spot in the entire district.”
