NOIDA: A residents’ delegation from sectors 118-122 met

“We Mahendra Nath Pandey, state president Bhartiya Janta Party, Uttar Pradesh at his Delhi residence and given him a memorandum detailing all the concerns of the residents regarding the proposed waste-to-energy plant in sector 123.
His view on the matter was that SLF/WtE should not be in residential area and that he will talk to Dr Mahesh Sharma and Pankaj Singh, our MP and
MLA respectively,” said Taran Dhingra resident of Homes 121.
Dhingra adds that the residents’ delegation will be meeting Pandey again in the coming days once he’s spoken to MP Sharma and MLA Singh. “We apprised him of all the health hazards that stand to emanate once the proposed waste site comes up and he too acknowledged our concerns. We hope to get a positive response now on the matter,” said Dhingra.
Those present in the meeting include Garima Tripathi, Beena Patra, Neeraj Aggarwal, Shalini Aggarwal, Sohan Mishra, Aman Chadda, Rahul Singhal, Ankush Khushwaha, Titu Yadav, Dipankar Bakshi, Ravi Sekhar, Sunil Garg and Firoz Khan.
