Rahul Yadav was shot by country-made pistol: Probe

The bullet that hit Rahul Yadav during a clash with police on September 29 in Onncha Amirpur was fired from a country-made pistol, a magisterial inquiry has revealed.
"The nature of injuries and probe suggests that Rahul had been injured by a bullet fired from of country-made pistol," said additional district magistrate Rajesh Yadav said. Yadav, 21, had been hit by a bullet in the hip after cops had resorted to lathicharge to control protests outside National Thermal Power Corporation station in Dadri, a day after Mohd Akhlaq was lynched by a mob.
